The first standalone BAIC sales and service centre in Slovenia has opened its doors at 252 Celovška Road in Ljubljana. The opening event was marked by a special guest: the humanoid robot PLARO, who introduced guests to the development of the Plan-net Group and its vision for the technologies of the future.

In his address, PLARO presented the broader story of Plan-net’s development and its vision for the future, symbolised by the new building. He highlighted the company’s beginnings in solar energy, followed by its expansion into electric mobility and charging infrastructure, and its subsequent entry into the market for Chinese automotive brands. Looking ahead, he identified humanoid robotics and electric aerial mobility as the next areas of development.

More than a car showroom

The new location is designed as more than just a car showroom. It is conceived as a broader technology hub bringing together several areas of the Plan-net Group under one roof.

The ground floor houses the BAIC sales and service centre. The upper floor is dedicated to Plan-net robot, where visitors will be able to explore the latest robotic solutions, while the third floor is dedicated to Plan-net air and the field of electric aerial mobility.

From robots to real-world applications

Plan-net robot is focusing primarily on bringing humanoid robots into real-world working environments. The company sees potential applications across a wide range of sectors, including industry, logistics, healthcare, retail, services and education.

Its activities go beyond simply selling robots. Plan-net robot also focuses on adapting robotic solutions to specific working environments, integrating them with existing information systems, and providing comprehensive technical and user support.

The aim is to turn advanced robotics into practical solutions that can deliver real value in everyday business processes. This approach is also reflected in Plan-net robot’s broader offering, which combines robotics, artificial intelligence, implementation support, training and technical assistance.

The next chapter in Plan-net’s development

Marko Femc, Managing Director of Plan-net avto, emphasized that the new location represents the next chapter in the company’s development. Plan-net began its journey in the field of solar energy, expanded into electric mobility and charging infrastructure, and is now entering the fields of humanoid robotics and electric aerial vehicles.

The opening of the new centre therefore represents more than the launch of a new location. It symbolises the Plan-net Group’s transition from a traditional automotive business towards a broader technology ecosystem, bringing together automotive technology, robotics, energy and the mobility of the future under one roof.
